Partials
Partial suspension allows one or more body parts to remain grounded, offering a unique blend of weightlessness and stability. Utilizing a combination of hard points and tension, you will learn how to create a sense of control, movement and body manipulation. These techniques create sensations ranging from pain to compression to stretch.
Through this class, you'll explore:
-
The fundamentals of safe and effective partial suspensions
-
How harnesses and bodies respond under load
-
Techniques to deepen connection and explore sub space
-
Creative transitions and body positioning in partials
-
Skills for both tops and bottoms

-
Everyone should pre-negotiate touch, communication methods, sensation preferences and boundaries prior to the class.

Class Etiquette
- Many etiquette items are covered in the Code of Conduct (we worked really hard on it, so give it a read)
- The class is a casual event, so please wear what you feel comfortable in. For models tight fitting clothes or just not much clothing is the easiest to tie in. For riggers, make sure your clothing does not restrict your mobility in any way.
- We suggest you to be barefoot or wear shoes on the dance floor to prevent slipping (not just socks).

Tickets

- NEVER let money be the reason you don’t come. We are still working out how we want to do a scholarship ticket program, but if you have a deep commitment to learn and share rope but not the financial means to attend this class, please email us so we can see how we can help.
